SCIENCE CLUB ........... Plant a Garden!
In the Spring of 2010 students from 5B started a class garden! It is located next to the school library. The students planted flowers, seeds for wildflowers, groundcover (hearts and flowers), two palm trees and a Sycamore tree! Ms. Salas' class completed the garden in April 2010. Because of the "Frost of 2011" we lost most of the groundcover and the 2 palm trees. However, there is new grass in its place.
This year, students planted more flowers and continue to maintain the garden on a regular basis. Second grade students planted daffodils while 5th grade students planted 2 Crepe Myrtles and some primrose!
